VIDCAT is syndicating its internet fashion channel, VIDCAT TV, to style-related websites and blogs. The customizable video player is filled with vintage and recent fashion show videos from the 1950s to the present. Fashion and beauty website owners looking for unique video content and web 2.0 enhancements are expected to be among the first syndication affiliates.
"We created an internet video channel that documents fashion and beauty trends from the past several decades to the present," says Janet Pytowski, President VIDCAT. People can watch a stylish mix of designer fashion runway shows (1980s to the present,) original fashion newsreels from the 1950s- 1960s, rare 1980s promotional fashion videos, fashion trend videos, backstage beauty footage and more -- all categorized by decade and theme.
"We launched VIDCAT TV with over 65 fashion video titles and we will be adding more videos on a regular basis. Our goal is to produce a robust internet fashion video resource that documents fashion history and entertains as well as educates online visitors," said Pytowski.
VIDCAT TV currently includes an eclectic mix of fashion videos from designers such as Bill Blass, Vivienne Westwood, Philip Treacy, Baby Phat, Bob Mackie, Tracy Reese, Emilio Pucci, Pierre Cardin, Carolina Herrera, Halston, Christian Dior, Stephen Sprouse, Pierre Balmain, Tommy Hilfiger, Albert Nippon, Anna Sui, Betsey Johnson and Julien MacDonald. Original black & white newsreels from the 1950s- 1960s are also included in the mix.
VIDCAT TV is available for syndication to fashion, beauty and style related websites looking for unique fashion video content to add to their site. "We developed four customizable video players, each a different size and format, which we are offering to affiliate websites interested in adding fashion video content to their sites." Monthly syndication rates start at $ 29 for a single-title video player to $ 99 for the large player with over 70 videos. Subscribers have the option to customize their syndicated players with their brand, logo and site colors.
A single-title VIDCAT TV is available for free syndication to Blogs and will be updated on a weekly basis. "We wanted to offer Blog publishers a special video player that would fit into their page format and frequent postings schedule," says Pytowski.
