Strategic Consulting Solutions, Inc. Helps Raise Breast Cancer Awareness as it Joins Fight to Eradicate the Deadly Disease

Oak Ridge, TN (PRWEB) October 06, 2011

Few things in life evoke such emotion as the word cancer. One of the most prevalent yet survivable forms is breast cancer. This non-discriminitory disease strikes within all walks of life, has afflicted millions and touched the lives of countless friends and loved ones. Strategic Consulting Solutions joins the fight for awareness and prevention again this year by participating in the local Race for the Cure event in support of the Susan G. Komen foundation. SCS founder and president, Laura Davis has enlisted the help of her staff, friends and colleagues in the quest for a cure. Davis credits current employee Robin McFarland as her inspiration to join the fight.

McFarland, a four-and-a-half year survivor, dreams "...they will find a cure for this horrible disease one day so that no one has to endure the pain and emotional suffering that it causes not only the victim but also their families...I only hope that it will happen during my lifetime." Until that time, she adds "I look forward to attending the Race each year and seeing more and more survivors in their pink."

SCS's committment to the cause is anchored in one of its core values...going above and beyond. At SCS, actions speak louder than words, and the company hopes that their participation will not only raise much needed research funding for the campaign, but unite their community as well.
